What this means for EU users

BingX launched in 2018 (as Bingbon, rebranded 2021) and does not publish a single headquarters; its user agreement contracts through a Panama entity, alongside BingX EU UAB in Lithuania and a Singapore arm. The Lithuanian company carries a pre-MiCA VASP registration — a national anti-money-laundering listing that is not, and does not substitute for, a MiCA CASP authorization.

BingX EU had a MiCAR application pending with Austria’s FMA in mid-2026 (not yet granted), so it cannot passport regulated services across the EEA. Spain’s CNMV published an investor warning naming bingx.com as unauthorized (February 2023), and BingX disclosed a roughly $45 million hot-wallet hack in September 2024 with a full-reimbursement pledge. Absent a CASP licence, it cannot lawfully onboard EEA retail after July 1, 2026.
