Term structure — ATM implied volatility
Mark IV at the strike nearest each expiry's forward. An upward slope means longer-dated options price more volatility than short-dated ones; an inverted front end usually reflects near-term event risk. Direction of price is not implied either way.

preliminaryPerpFinder snapshots this market every 15 minutes to build its own DVOL, ATM-IV, open-interest and put/call history — collecting since July 16, 2026. Charts unlock once the series is at least 7 days old with sufficient coverage; we don't draw “history” from a handful of points, and we never backfill synthetically. History starts at our first observed datapoint.
How to read this page
Implied volatility (IV)is the volatility level that makes an option's market price fair under a standard pricing model — the market's priced-in expectation of movement, not a forecast of direction. We display the venue's mark IV per contract.
Term structure plots at-the-money IV against time to expiry. Skew compares IV across strikes for one expiry: when downside strikes trade at higher IV than upside strikes, insurance against drops is priced richer — a positioning fact, not a price prediction.
Open interest counts contracts currently open; put/call ratios compare put and call activity. A ratio needs a non-zero denominator — where there is none, we show a dash rather than inventing a number. Nothing on this page is trading advice.

Self-collected history: PerpFinder snapshots Deribit's BTC and ETH options market every 15 minutes and stores validated observations (dataset start 2026-07-16, no synthetic backfill). Each chart publishes automatically once its series is established — at least 7 days of collection, 500 stored observations and 100 valid chart points.
