What this means for EU users
Bitunix (launched 2021) does not disclose a clear operating jurisdiction — sources variously place it in Dubai, Hong Kong or St. Vincent & the Grenadines — and no Bitunix page PerpFinder read names a licence.
A FinCEN MSB search for “Bitunix” returned no match. It is not in the ESMA CASP register and has no verifiable EU MiCA application.
Unusually, Bitunix’s own restricted-regions notice names France as the only EU/EEA state it explicitly excludes; other EU users are not contractually blocked, and crypto-margined perps require no mandatory KYC at the basic tier.
Without a MiCA authorization it cannot lawfully solicit EEA retail after July 1, 2026, so EU users trade under offshore terms without EU safeguards.
