Crypto Futures Top Movers

Understanding Top Movers
Top Movers shows the perpetual futures contracts with the largest 24-hour price changes. Gainers and losers are filtered to pairs with at least $1M in daily volume to exclude illiquid and low-cap tokens. This helps traders focus on meaningful moves rather than noise from micro-cap pairs with thin liquidity.
Large price moves often attract attention and capital. A coin appearing at the top of the gainers list may see elevated funding rates and open interest as traders pile into momentum positions. Conversely, top losers frequently experience cascading liquidations that can accelerate downward moves — creating potential reversal setups for contrarian traders watching for exhaustion signals.
The 1-hour change column helps you distinguish between sustained trends and fading moves. A gainer with a strong positive 1h change is still accelerating, while a gainer with a negative 1h change may have already peaked. Combined with the funding rate column, you can quickly spot when momentum is backed by genuine leverage demand versus thin-volume speculation.

How to spot trends with top movers
The top movers table ranks assets by percentage price change over your selected timeframe. But raw price change only tells half the story -- what matters is the context. A 15% pump on $50M in volume is a real move; a 15% pump on $2M volume is noise. Always check volume alongside price action to filter signal from manipulation.
Momentum tends to persist in crypto. Assets that appear in the top gainers for 2-3 consecutive days often have another leg up, especially when paired with rising open interest. This confirms that new capital is flowing in, not just existing positions being marked up. Conversely, top losers with spiking liquidation volume may be approaching a bounce as forced sellers get cleared out.
Use the movers table as a starting point for deeper analysis. When an altcoin appears in top gainers, check its perp exchange page for funding rates and OI breakdown. High funding on a top mover means longs are paying a premium to hold -- unsustainable above 0.1% per 8 hours for most assets.
