How the save20 code works
Open the referral link before you create an account. The link adds code save20 to the new account, and the discount starts at signup. You do not need to type the code on a later screen.
The discount applies to perpetual futures trades on ApeX Omni. It stays active for the lifetime of the account. It does not stop after a volume amount or a date. You cannot change the referral code after signup, so use the link first.
ApeX also runs a VIP program. The VIP discount and the referral discount do not stack. The platform applies the higher of the two discounts to each trade. Thus the 20% referral discount is your minimum discount until a VIP tier gives you more.
Fees after the save20 discount
The ApeX fee record in our data lists a base maker fee of 0.02% and a base taker fee of 0.05%. With code save20, the taker fee is 0.04%. On a $100,000 taker trade, the fee falls from $50 to $40.
ApeX Omni matches orders off-chain. It settles trades through StarkEx, a settlement system from StarkWare. You pay no gas for each trade.
Funding payments and price impact are separate from the trading fee. The referral discount does not change them.
Eligibility and risks before you sign up
You can deposit from Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain or Polygon. ApeX Omni does not ask for KYC. Perpetual futures are restricted in some countries, so check your local law before you trade.
ApeX Omni is non-custodial, but it has trust points. StarkEx runs in validium mode, so trade data stays off-chain and not on Ethereum. One central sequencer matches all orders. PeckShield and Secure3 audited the contracts. An audit checks code at one point in time. It does not make later code safe.
Leverage goes up to 100x on some pairs. High leverage can close a position after a small price move. The fee discount does not reduce that risk.
