Getting started with GRVT

We do not currently have a GRVT referral code, so the link below is a plain sign-up link with nothing attached. The timing is still worth knowing: GRVT closed its Season 2 rewards program on June 30, 2026, ahead of the announced $GRVT token — with the TGE targeted for shortly after the close, in Q3 2026. GRVT is built for institutional requirements and has attracted notable backing. An account opened now is positioned for the venue's token era rather than the points era that just ended.

What is GRVT?

GRVT (pronounced "gravity") is a hybrid derivatives exchange. It pairs CEX-level execution speed with DeFi self-custody. The exchange targets institutional traders and sophisticated retail users who want fast order execution without giving up fund control.

The architecture is hybrid: order matching happens off-chain for speed. Settlement is finalized on-chain via zkSync zero-knowledge proofs. Every trade is cryptographically verifiable on Ethereum. You do not need to trust GRVT's servers with your money.

Institutional standards

GRVT is built to meet institutional requirements:

- Regulated entity: GRVT operates with a compliance-first approach. It is accessible to institutions that cannot use anonymous DEXes - Trail of Bits audit: GRVT's smart contracts have been audited by Trail of Bits, a well-established security firm - Institutional backing: GRVT has raised from investors in both TradFi and crypto - Non-custodial settlement: Users retain self-custody. Funds are never held by GRVT

Fees and trading

GRVT pays makers a small rebate — -0.001% (a 0.1 bps credit) on filled maker orders — and charges 4.5 basis points (0.045%) for takers. Leverage goes up to 50x. The taker rate matches Hyperliquid's base tier, and being paid to post liquidity beats most centralized exchanges.

The platform supports perpetual futures on major crypto pairs. The market list will expand as adoption grows.

Technology: zkSync and ZK proofs

GRVT runs on zkSync Era, an Ethereum Layer 2 using zero-knowledge proofs for settlement. Every batch of on-chain trades includes a cryptographic proof of correct execution. You do not need to trust GRVT's servers. This is a higher security bar than optimistic rollups used by many other L2 DEXes.

GRVT vs Hyperliquid and dYdX

All three are serious players in on-chain perps. Hyperliquid runs a fully on-chain order book on its own L1. It achieves high throughput without off-chain matching but operates outside regulatory frameworks. dYdX v4 moved to a Cosmos app-chain. It performs well but requires bridging to a separate chain.

GRVT's hybrid model is different. Matching happens off-chain for CEX-grade speed. Settlement is on-chain via zkSync ZK-proofs. The key differentiator is institutional compliance. GRVT is regulated, making it accessible to funds, family offices, and prop desks that cannot use unregulated venues. Neither Hyperliquid nor dYdX v4 offer this. For retail users, all three are competitive. For institutional capital, GRVT has few direct rivals.

Token outlook — Season 2 closed, TGE targeted for Q3 2026

The reward-program cycle has finished its accumulation phase. GRVT's Season 2.0 ran weekly epochs weighting trading volume at 50% of the pool (UI over API, taker over maker, 2x on altcoins), open interest at 15%, referrals at 20%, and liquidity, deposits, and liquidations at 5% each. Season 2 closed on June 30, 2026, and no Season 3 is live.

What comes next is published: 1 billion $GRVT supply, 28% to the community at TGE, with an 18% share for Season 2 participants — and the TGE targeted for shortly after the season close, in Q3 2026. Nothing has been distributed yet, so treat any "GRVT claim" site as phishing until official channels announce the distribution.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is GRVT?

GRVT is an institutional-grade hybrid derivatives exchange. It matches orders off-chain for speed and settles them on-chain via zkSync zero-knowledge proofs, giving users CEX performance with DEX self-custody.

Is GRVT regulated?

Yes. GRVT operates as a regulated entity with a compliance-first approach, making it accessible to institutions that require regulatory coverage. This sets it apart from most DEXes.

What makes GRVT different from other perp DEXes?
