The table uses the base taker fee of 0.045% and the 4% discount.

The discount stops after $25M of total volume. At $10M a month, you reach the cap in 2.5 months. Up to the cap, the code saves $450 in total. Volume is the notional value of all fills, and each open and each close counts. The table prices every fill at the Hyperliquid base-tier taker rate. A maker order or a higher volume tier pays a different rate. Funding and spread are not in the table. See the Hyperliquid fee schedule.
Code AWD takes 4% off your Hyperliquid trading fees for the first $25 million of volume. After that cap, your fees return to the normal rate for your volume tier.

If your account has no code yet, enter AWD on the Referrals page. Do this before your first trade. Each account can have only one referral code. Once the code is set, you cannot change or remove it.
When the discount stops
The discount applies to perpetual futures and spot trades. It covers your first $25 million in volume, and the Referrals page shows how much of the cap you have used. After the cap, you pay the normal rate of your volume tier.
The referrer also gets 10% of the fees that you pay, less your discount.
What the code does not change
- Vaults and sub-accounts. Hyperliquid treats them as separate accounts, so the discount does not apply to them.
- Volume after the first $25 million. The code saves nothing on that volume.
- Funding. Longs and shorts pay each other every hour, and the code does not change these payments.
- Spread and price impact. The order book sets these costs, not the fee schedule.
- App fees. A wallet or app that routes orders with a builder code adds its own fee. The referral terms do not name that fee. See Hyperliquid builder fees by app.
Fee tiers with the AWD discount
Hyperliquid sets your perp fee tier from your 14-day weighted volume. The weighted volume counts perps volume plus twice your spot volume. The table shows the first three perp tiers from our fee registry. The 4% discount comes off the rate of the tier that you are on. The Hyperliquid fees page shows every tier, the measured cost of a trade and the fee on other venues.

Funding is paid every hour, and the cap is 4% per hour.
Eligibility and risks before you sign up
The Hyperliquid terms bar persons in the United States and in Ontario, Canada. Sanctioned and export-controlled territories are also barred. The interface collects a wallet address and location data. It does not ask for identity documents.
Maximum leverage depends on the asset. BTC allows 40x, ETH 25x and SOL 20x. Zellic audited the legacy bridge contract.
Two market events show the intervention risk. In March 2025, validators voted to delist the JELLY perp and settled all positions at a set price. In November 2025, a POPCAT manipulation left the community liquidity vault with about $4.9 million in bad debt. Validators can act on a market in this way, so size your positions with that risk in mind.
