- A Standard account pays 0% maker and taker fees. Premium and Plus accounts pay a fee in exchange for lower latency. Source, checked 2026-09-23.
- Each Lighter market has a fixed interest rate part in its funding rate. When the premium between the mark price and the index price is small, the rate is only that fixed part. For this reason, many markets show the same rate. Source, checked 2026-09-25.
- The live funding matrix gives Lighter an hourly rate. Because the Lighter docs state one interval for every market, the calculator applies that rate once per hour.
Funding = position value × hourly rate × holding hours
