Bitget starts at 0.020% maker and 0.060% taker at VIP 0. That base taker rate is above the 0.050% median of 19 venues with a fee page. 8 volume levels cut the taker rate to 0.020% at $1B. The stored sweep of September 25, 2026 put Bitget at rank 29 of 43 for a $10,000 BTC market buy, at 6.01 bps. That is 0.88 bps more than Binance in the same sweep (5.13 bps).

Bitget, KuCoin and HTX share the highest base taker rate on these pages, 0.060%. VIP 1 cuts only the maker rate, from 0.020% to 0.019%. The ladder then drops fast: VIP 2 at $10M cuts the taker rate to 0.040%. The top level, VIP 7, needs $1B and sets the maker fee to 0%. VIP 6, at $300M, is the first Bitget level with a taker rate of 0.030% or less.

The maker rate falls to 0% at VIP 7, from $1B of volume. The largest taker cut is from VIP 1 to VIP 2: 0.060% to 0.040%. VIP 1 keeps the base taker rate and lowers only the maker rate.
