Bybit fees at a glance

Bybit starts at 0.020% maker and 0.055% taker at VIP 0. That base taker rate is above the 0.050% median of 19 venues with a fee page. 7 volume levels cut the taker rate to 0.035% at $50M. 3 of the higher levels also need more than volume. The stored sweep of September 25, 2026 put Bybit at rank 26 of 43 for a $10,000 BTC market buy, at 5.51 bps. That is 0.38 bps more than Binance in the same sweep (5.13 bps).

Of Bybit, Binance and OKX, Bybit has the highest base taker rate: 0.055%, against 0.050% and 0.050%. The first step, VIP 1 at $10M, is also the largest: the taker rate falls from 0.055% to 0.040%. From VIP 4, volume alone is not enough, because the API share of volume must stay at 20% or less. Supreme VIP pays no maker fee, but it needs $500M and the API-share check. So the lowest taker rate that volume alone reaches on Bybit is 0.035%, at VIP 3 ($50M).
